When a reptile is active shapes its whole setup, its lighting, UVB and when you feed it. Here's when the species we cover are up and about.
Diurnal (34)
Active by day
Out and about in daylight, so it wants a clear day/night cycle, and (for baskers) UVB and a warm basking spot. You'll actually see this one.
Crepuscular (4)
Active at dawn and dusk
Busiest in the low light of dawn and dusk, resting through the brightest and darkest hours. Time feeding and interaction to those windows.
Nocturnal (24)
Active by night
Most active after lights-out, so bright basking isn't the priority (though low-level UVB still benefits many). Don't expect much daytime activity.
