Humidity
The amount of moisture in the air, a species-specific target that affects shedding, hydration and breathing.
Humidity is as species-specific as temperature. A desert species kept too humid is prone to respiratory infection and scale rot; a rainforest species kept too dry gets stuck sheds, dehydration and long-term health problems.
Measure it with a digital hygrometer, and adjust with substrate choice, water areas, misting, ventilation and a humid hide. As with temperature, the useful thing is to track it over time rather than glance at it once.
