No, they're different species. The golden gecko (Gekko ulikovskii) is a larger, nocturnal, Southeast Asian gecko; the neon day gecko (Phelsuma klemmeri) is a tiny, diurnal Madagascan bamboo gecko. Their lighting and daily-rhythm needs differ, so don't follow one's care sheet for the other.
